Carbo Magnetic Griffin 60
Just picked this up from the Bay... It needs a new set of scales. I may actually try my hand at making some. Only some minor rust on it that should polish out easily. Let me know what y'all think!

Thanks I think it is! It should hone up nicely. Now I need suggestions for scales. I'm thinking wood and beginner set/style.

Good looking razor. I have the same model and it is one of my favorites.

Thanked: 4826Aside from the obvious general condition if you look at the spine and see little and even hone wear it is a thumbs up. If you look at the heel and it don't look low to the edge of the blade that is another thumbs up. That combined with a known quality brand and you have a worthy subject for restoration. Nice score.

Nice blade! Griffon sold good cutlery. In fact, they were in NYC, but had their own factory in Solingen, the "Perfectum Factory" !

I rest my case.
