My first SR arrived today!
W.R Case and Sons Bradford PA on one side. King of Whiskers on the other. I want to give it a try but will have to wait until it gets honed.Last edited by BearRae50; 12-08-2014 at 07:46 PM.

Case indeed are excellent razors. While waiting to get it honed, you can use some Maas polish to clean it up just a touch. It's in nice shape overall, a bit of a shine and it's good as new.

This Genco just arrived today. Now with two i should always have one ready if I have to send out for a re-hone.

If I might make a suggestion, don't rest the blade on anything like it looks like you're doing in your last 2 pictures. They are very delicate. Once honed it should never touch anything but your face and a strop...until you get to honing yourself.
