Thread: Adoration 292 and Over The......

Hey all:

It's been awhile since I posted (Real life and all that jazz) but I wanted to throw something out on behalf of my cousin who found a pair of razors in a relative's storage. The first is an Adoration 292 and the second is simply branded "Over the" with a symbol resembling a nail piercing a heart...or a radish. It's hard to tell.

Both are in their original scales, and he's looking for opinions on restoration as well as a little history. My amateur eye, based on the pics he sent (below) say that they are worth giving a shot. The edges are straight, no undue home wear, and the rust APPEARS (emphasis intentional) to be relatively superficial. I know that such an assumption is dangerous without the razors in hand. Anyway, I'm (we?) are looking for a second, third, fourth....nth opinion, as well as a history lesson if possible, and I know no better community!
