same here !! that is the main reason i bought this razor !! cause lord knows it wasnt the square point that gashes me every time on all my other ones ..lol

i had to mute another one i have , i get to used to all those blades with great smiles and barber notches that it never fails .... slice !! ..lol..
but i dont recall the windowsill mute ..lol

Simply grasp the beast and give it a few 4 inch strokes under the windowsill, lightly on the tip.
Won't see it, but it works!
