    Default Griffon XX CarboMegnetic

Just received last night and shaved with it. It is wonderful to shave with a quality razor for the first time, especially one honed and cared for by a fellow member. I am happy to say I can now distinguish where my technique is lacking, and be able to finally perfect my shaving experience!

So, was it the Gold Dollar or your technique that was giving you the poor shaves before?

It was mostly the Gold Dollar. I had minimal resistance, and almost no skipping this time. The blade cut through pretty much all the hairs. I didn't do an XTG this time, because I wanted to take it back to basi

Gold Dollars, what can I say? From what I have read on here beginners should stay well clear of them. They are for people who have honing skills and want a project/challenge imho.

Nice razor. I have one as well and it is one of my go-to razors.

Thank you! I was pretty happy with the box too. It was a surprise, because it wasn't listed or pictures in the ad. I feel pretty lucky!

My first shaves were with the Carbo-Magnetic that I won here from one of the monthly giveaways! I now have many razors in my rotation, but the C-M is still one of my favorites.

    Congratulations, and enjoy!
