    Charlie, I have never seen an actual gold plated razor. Get some pics up so Goldragon can compare. But I am trusting in his opinion that is is an actual tone to the steel, and not a plating

    This is the most pristine anthology of Joseph Elliot razors I have ever seen. For those who cannot resist temptation, there are many individual pieces out there to be deflowered. To disturb this undisturbed collection would upset the razor gods...this one is fit for a museum.

    All I can say is holy crap. I am green with envy but I probably couldn't have afforded it anyways. Glad they are in a good home and happy.

    Absolutely stunning just glad I didn't see them SWMBO would never have understood these arriving in the post!
    I know you have your reasons but I'd be very temted to shave with them. I used to work in Sheffield so gravitate to any that were made there.
