Default strange package in the mail

I was fortunate enough a while back to win an ugly black gillete adjustable slim off the bay well i cleaned it shined it up and posted it so I can get my ooohs and awes. A fellow said he was looking for one with the same date code to give to his father in law for his birth year and date code. Well this was my second slim, and who needs two of the same razors right.... I pm him and said send me your address and this ones yours..... just my luck, hes in Italy lol so off to post office i go.... we email we chat I tell him ive moved to straights and he used to shave with them also but gave up. I was telling him im just beginning but I cut my strop and found out its not even read leather it was immatation leather. I still use it btw lol so today a strange package came and it was from italy......Name: IMG_20150202_221905.jpg

Looks like it has some holes in it that Chicago screws would go through. easy enough to make a leather handle and add some hardware with leather attaching it. D rings can be found at tack stores or online.
Squeeze some Poraso in your hand, you'll figure out what it is. Take a brush to it.

You got paid back for your pif. Or is it a pif/pif :<0)

That little Prima Rindleder strop is a gem! Love those. Nice work!

I have a tube of that Palmolive & it really lathers up great! It's made in Italy. Like the others said, you could make your own hardware for the strop. You could even make a paddle strop out of it. I love it, it's wide enough & not cupped! You did well. It pays to help others out!!!
