    Default Recent Find

I recently acquired this piece which I don't know much about. It cays C. Ellis & under it says Richmond. I need to make a new set of scales for it & clean the blade up but it's pretty old from what I can tell. I don't have any info on it in any of my books but I think it might be late 1700's early 1800's.

Nice find. Going to look pretty fancy when you get it all cleaned up.

That razor is gorgeous! I would have thought it'd have been from after 1800. How much of a hollow does it have on it?

I guess you would call it a near wedge. The seller listed it as 1775-1810. I wrote him & asked where he found his information & he said he looked it up on here. I did a little bit of looking but couldn't find it but i'm sure if I search long enough, I'll find info on it.

Very nice. A nice stub tail is on my list. I've always liked how the tang/shoulder/edge merge together.
