    Default G. Smith (1770 - 1780)

My overworked restorer has finished another razor, this one belongs in a class all on its own...IMHO of course!

He left a patina on the blade, fitting for such a razor.

He made coffin scales from Elk antler, has that 'rustic' look that white bone doesn't quite portray without artificial aging.

Added bonus, the original washers were saved and used!

That looks fantastic!!! He did a good job on the scales & they look old..............
Glad you could save the original washers. I try to do that on razors I take apart. I have a small container full of old original washers. I was able to use the original washers on the Curley.

This level of craftsmanship is far above the capabilities of me and my banana grabbers, he truly has a God given talent.

Thats doing the razor justice. Maintaining its character and keeping it period correct, yet restoring it so its good for another 200+ years!
