Got this one the other day, Jonathan Crookes Sheffield England. I was surprised to find it was a bellied hollow blade. The metal was tarnished black with what turned out to be devils spit under it right down into the bevel area after a light cleaning. Took a bit of work on the DMT 325 to work past the devils spit and get to good metal to form a bevel on. Sanded and polished it by hand as beat I could not wanting to erase the blade and tang etchings. This kind of work is getting hard on these old and stiff hands. So here it is waiting to be honed. She'll never be a beauty but it just may be serviceable again.
