More pictures. Here is a close up of the mug. There is no makers mark on the bottom of the mug. The mirror frame is some type of early plastic in faux ivory with a little flaking on the silver of the mirror. The razor will remain as it is. Maybe some Maaz and wax. I have no intention of honing it as I believe it has never been honed. The scales are bone with a lead wedge and brass pins. Everything fits snug in the case. The razor and brush holders are some sort of spring loaded clips under the satiny light blue fabric. My guess is the original brush handle was faux ivory to match the mirror and either bore or badger bristles.

I would not polish the frosted side of that beauty with anything. If it was mine, it would get a light coat of oil and that's all.

    Beautiful set. Great snag.
