Size: 30.5 KB I have one other tuckmar and it really shaves great. I hope this one does as good. I really don't think it will need more than just a little polishing and cleaning. this is one of the photos off eBay. the add didn't say what size it is I hope it's a little larger than 5/8 but if it's not that'll be ok to. The weather here has got to change. I'm going broke. even fishing is cheaper.
anybody out there collect these. I don't see many on the bay or else where. just wondering.

A collector of all nice blades. At least that I can clean up by hand( no power tools) I just acquired one the other day at a antique shop. Have it cleaned up but needs honed ( today) and in a couple days ( when my beard grows back out) I'll give it a go. Boy I wished I could shave every day. So many razors so little time

Well it finely got here today. It really looks better in the hand than it did in the photo. Now when I put it to the hone I found a very small chip from the edge. You barely could see it. It took over 30 minutes on the 1K to hone out. the metal in this razor is very hard. now after the chip was gone it finished up on the rest of the hones fine. can't wait to try it. This will be the first of it's kind I've tried. no shoulder and hollow ground. it's about a 1/2 hollow. When spring or better weather gets here I will take it to a friend for verification. and to get his opinion. I was worried about the size. it's just a little over 6/8.

I got a chance to shave with this razor today and it was a very good experience. This was the first shave with a razor with no shoulder and I really couldn't tell the difference. I did decrease the angle a lot. there was no pulling or tugging really a good shave. I did notice I made less passes with this razor than a few of the others I have. Up till the last 2 weeks I had thought for me that the sheffields was the razor I would be using for now on but I may be a little pre-mature on this. I still have trouble with the right side jaw line but that's because of the joints in my right hand. any way it does shave as good as it looks.

    Hi Rhensley,

This is my Tuck, I'd say it's the ugly step-sister to your beautiful Cinderella.
If I remember rightly, I bought it off forumite/administrator "Bruno"(in the classifieds) several years ago.
I remember cleaning it, but don't recall if I took off the gold leaf or not.
It's not been put into service yet, so I can't give you a review of it's shaving capabilities.

If I was a betting man i'd bet it will be a slick shaver. It looks good to me. I'm still watching and if I find a square point like this I might try to get it to pair with the round point. The round point is great but around the stash the square trims a little better for me. of course i'm not that handy with a blade.
