Thread: a little window shopping today !

well i made a trip to SRD and picked up a new DMT cause mine had some issues , so i had to pick up some feather blades and the SRD Vetiver soap .. on my way home i decided to window shop and did see a couple things i liked as far as straight razors but at $55-$200 for a "RARE" chipped up plastic handled straight i figured i would pass ..i did see a nice DE i wouldnt mind having and a brush/comb that i thought may have been in Tortoise but i was in a hurry and with no one around to get a look i snapped a few pictures and away i went !!
on a side note if i was a "KEEN -KUTTER" guy i did find what i would think to be an awesome den razor showcase ..





this case had to be 4-5ft long

Ya that case would have went home with me. Mind you it's in fantastic shape and is solid oak, price would have been top dollar. Around here it would have been priced high. Let us know if you go back

at a glance i think it was $1200.00 or $1800 , i honestly dont remember but i do remember going YA RIGHT !! not in my budget !! i did picture it lined with razors and how good it would work !!

honestly at this place i have never saw any real deals , that Gillette pictured above i prob would have bought if i had the $ on me but i would have over paid ! there was a C-MON strop that was in pretty bad shape at $100 , and a couple barber hones at $50+ ..very little shaving supplies but the rest of the place has good vintage/antique things that i just enjoy walking around and looking at ... there is another one pretty close to me that i saw tons of razors at last time but was there right before they closed so unless it was a must have razor i didnt bother getting any help to see them !!

but its almost flea market time !! fingers crossed on some thuri's ..lol

Yeah...............same here at that price!!!!!! Some people are so damn ridiculous.

i was looking at some old tool boxes (wooden) also that with all the individual doors and a large top lid i could have filled it with razors and the upper part with hones, but again in that $500-$1000 and that is out of my range also

You went WINDOW SHOPPING and took pictures of all that stuff?
