Thanked: 12The ones that got it all started
As in most forums, I assume the "pics or it didn't happen" rule applies here as well. Well, these are the razors I selected to start my journey to self discovery.
My Othello 1228 (my namesake here)
My W.H. Morley & Sons Clover brand
That's my story and I'm sticken to it.
I know the Morley is nearly 100 years old, but the Othello, I wish I knew more about it. Does the number represent a model, a serial number, or reference a manufacturing run? How old might it be? Time to expand my library of research material.Last edited by Othello1228; 03-08-2015 at 03:06 AM.

Most have not started with better. Some still don't have better. Nice ones! Good quality.

Nice razors - and if you can resist RAD (somebody has to do it) those two could work for the rest of your shaving days with a little care...

Thanked: 12Thanks, apparently I suffer from a rather large number of maladies.
BRD..Black rifle disease
WAD..Watch acquisition disease (I don't have enough wrist)
BAD..brush acquisition disease (I have one to stiff, one to soft, and now looking for one just right)
FFS..Fly fishing syndrome
Clogged arteries (hence the recent quadruple by-pass)
SAD1..(I'm on the prowl for a larger scuttle)
SAD2.. (I've got this one twice since I've abused my first strop)
and now...RAD (and I just added a Torrey after you advised me to resist)
