Thanked: 12I got these items
My Aunt passed away in August of last year. And of course my Cousin that is the Executor of her trust is cleaning out the house. My Aunt and Uncle built the house in 1947. (my cousin say's Aunt Edna saved everything from the day the bought the lot ). Anyway these items belonged to my Uncle Ralph (my pretty Uncle family joke ) They had no children so all of my cousins and I were treated like we were their children. Years ago before I went in the Military. My Uncle Ralph taught me how to shave with a straight razor, but I have not used one for almost 50 years. Here is a picture of the items.

Welcome PatrickA51. What a great treasure trove from your Aunt and Uncle. Any time you have family heirloom items the days grow brighter in my mind. I hope you will take the opportunity to revive your use of the straights.
I've attached a short list of people possible in or near you that can help you evaluate and refurbish the razors. They are listed on our Local Help list:
Euclid440 (Diamond Bar)
10pups (Orange)
RoyalCake (Torrance)
Voidmonster (Oceanside)
THey are Senior Members that are always happy to assist anyone interested in wet shaving. If they are no close enough, do ask Euclid if he knows of someone nearer to you that can help."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."
