Bonus find
My father had past away a few years ago and one of the things that were left to me was a small safe. Not fire proof or anything like that. But did have combination lock. Well i got it opened! To my surprise was a Christmas gift i bought for him when i was in grade school. I believe. In1977. Thought about using it but its never been used. So i ask. Can someone tell me if it has any value other than sentimental value. Made sheffield. England. All of it is marked and one piece is missing. Maybe fingernail clippers dont know. Thanks

It is PRICELESS!
A gift you gave to him that he treasured enough to keep in a safe.... No amount of money could rip that away from me!

Oh yeah! Man, you can slip a nice blade in, get a good shave, get your nails and such tuned-up. Some Sheffield nail clippers are easy to find.
Even pop the tops off some cold ones. Remembering him all the while!Last edited by sharptonn; 03-26-2015 at 01:26 AM.

IMO, you cannot hurt it to use it. It was meant to be used. Your Dad saved it because it was something you gave him.
Not especially valuable, I think. As was said, sentimental. Run it on the neck. Clean it and dry it. Use all of it. JMO"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

I agree. Those type of kits dont seem to fetch a lot of $. But it's personal history is priceless. It's really up to you wether or not you want to use it. If it were me, I would take it out once in a while(maybe Christmas, or your dads Bday) and use it. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
