Shokwood is material made by Beyond wood products. They take burl caps and pour an Alumilite resin onto the gnarly side of the cap. The wood is also Impregnated with a very thin resin which then stabilizes the wood. Trimmy has turned some lovely brushes out of the same material. Very cool stuff!! Originally Posted by Scareface

You will not be disappointed I have 3 and they are the only Razors I use any more. I have the first Timahagane/Meteorite that Tim made and it is just as sharp today as it was when he sent it to me and have had it about a year and have only stropped it no paste just felt and leather. I also have 1 of his 2H2H razors and a Carbon Series razor and they too are sweet shaving.
