    Default NOS Hoshi Tombo 8000

This Hoshi Tombo dropped through the box today and when I saw her Man you should have seen the smile on my face, well I've finally captured one I've been looking high and low for a long time for this razor in a NOS the spec's are 13/16 quarter hollow with a Monkey tail, an extremely beautiful looking razor I can't wait to try her out she certainly appears to be shave ready so I'll just give her a good stropping and away to go.

Conratulations. You have found yourself a beautiful Japanese western straight with the 8000. The are excellent shavers and come with a fine factory edge. Enjoy.

I've already said elsewhere but no reason not to repeat with this stunner. Congratulations, Jamie. She's magnificent.

I have a Fon in that general configuration with a right angle spike point (considerably less valuable)......that is truly a piece of functional art and I'll look forward to seeing it again in one of your sublime SOTD pics. Personally I have found the 2" blades very easy to get used to....

You ever get in a binde, look me up, I'll give what you gave, unless you scratch it. It really is a beautiful blade. WOW!
