Thanked: 169J Wiss Newark New Jersey 145 model
I just got this also. I love blades ground this way with no stabilizer and some meat. Doesn't need much help at all, steel seems really good. Amazing anything was produced in Newark besides new crimes, but here you go...

Nice Razor! Newark used to be a big industrial city with tons of factories. In fact there are a lot of vacant factories still there.

Thanked: 169The way it is now is a total drag... It is genuinely a nice blade. I really prefer this heel setup to double stabilizers

Thanked: 169I actually had a talk with someone in the know. They completely made their blades from us steel. The only component they did not manufacture were the scales. Not typical for completely domestic US razors to be found besides the usual suspects. Excited to see what the steel is like.

I say clean it, polish or buff, hone it,strop it, then lock yourself in the bathroom. I believe your in for a incredible shave. Love the extra hollows

Thanked: 169I did just that last night. Just a piece of deadened 1k I used to lap rocks previously and some maas. All it has is some harmless pits here and there. Blade reminds me a lot of an imperial cutlery blade in shape/grind. I actually have high hopes for this one as a shaver.
