Very good razors. Is it 5/8 or 6/8?

Got brave, gave it a go. Shaved brilliantly. Nothing I addressed during honing played up, thankfully. This is an awesome blade profile to use. What would a 6/8 mint in the case go for, generally? I may see if I can source one if it isn't hideously expensive.

Congrats! The hairline comment had worried me a tad

A 6/8 mint in the case would generally go for a few money

When you are talking mint, think mint (as in you need to be able to mint your own money...).

Really that bad? Damn... Well, if someone here is thinking about blowing cash on one, the steel is good and hard and the grind is very nice.

A mint 6/8 is hideous but not as bad as they were not long ago. They have somewhat fallen from grace. I have no idea why the prices have slipped slightly but the market is a fickle b!#&h

I sold a repaired 6/8 for about 2 bills. I was shocked. I have not seen one in a while that did not have uneven wear or damage.

    and yea, they shave superb!

Steel seems rather dense on this razor if that makes any sense. It reminds me of a yamamasa kamisori I have that feels heavier than the size would indicate.
