Default Uncovered a time capsule - Otto Fromm, Hess/VdH soap, Omega brushes

After buying a NOS Otto Fromm 50 Redhead a couple of weeks ago, I uncovered another dozen or so that had been hiding in storage, plus two dozen pucks of Hess/Van der Hagen (I'm not sure which) "Surrey" shave soap (whatever it is, it forms a great lather!), plus Omega beech brushes.

I'm hoping to be able to save one of these for the monthly give-away.

That's a great find. I restored A Redhead for a friend and I have another one in my to do bin. I think those are the newer production razors that you have there.

Those are beautiful. I really like the metal trim on the scales (not sure what that is called). Wish I had the $$ to buy one. Looks like they were stored clean/oiled (no sign of the blades being handled before put away).
Do you have an online store or are you a vendor here? (you mentioned them flying off the shelves).

Imagine meeting someone who doesn't appreciate what these items are (or that there are guys like us who still use them)... Then almost falling over when they casually say "there's probably a box of them in the garage."

Excellent score. I have a friend and his wife's father used to be a barber. He keeps telling me all the stuff is sitting in the barn. Pole, chair, boxes of razors and stuff, catalogs. I got to get to Oklahoma someday soon :<0)
