Needs new scales and a general shakedown. Really cool grind, kind of like the diamond edge but this predates it I think.

That's very nice. It ought to look good with some new scales. It does pre-date 1891.

Thanked: 169Took some initiative this weekend. Fixed the scales after a year plus. Took a couple of days. Didn't just fuse the crack I filled all the perimeter chips and reshaped them once the epoxy cured. A lot of work with nothing but sandpaper.

Thanked: 169When I took it apart, I saw that is cracked at an angle vs clean. With all that meat to get good contact with I figured trying to salvage was a worthwhile endeavor. The harder thing to fix were the salad of chips that were elsewhere.
