    Default Wanted: Picture of etch, WB Fine India Steel Razor

    This is the etch I'd like to get a higher resolution/better quality picture of:

    Name:  fineindia.jpg
Views: 210
Size:  30.4 KB

    The pic would have to be emailed to me as I don't think there is any way to post or send large files on this board.

    Exactly. The razor pictured is not mine, found on the internet. The one I have is barely visible. I found two fonts that are close enough that they won't need too much tweaking, but I need a better picture to work from to be sure.

    Not quite right but workable.

    I have one the etching came off of. Would you like to put it on mine as well ?
    The pic you posted is the best I could find, I think the next step is GNU GIMP( Photoshop) to get the correct width and height
    Or you could recreate the film because you know the fonts or at least what is they look like and can find the equvelant in a text editor.

    Photo Shop/GIMP is not the way to go. It really needs to be vector art rather than raster art (Illustrator rather than Photo Shop). I have to see if I can pull it off, and right now it's still a pretty big if.

    Vector = GNU Inkscape

    I've been using GIMP forever but never thought of the existence of Inkscape.
