That's a nice one. I have several like it but two are absolutely mint. Sorry the photo's aren't the best. I screwed up my MacBook the other day & had to do a clean install & now I have to go into my external hard drive & restore it back to the last backup which was October 22, 2014, then update the O.S. again. I lost all my previous pics but will get most of them back. I was going to restore it back to that date but stopped the restore when I realized I forgot to back it up so I would have my pics between then & now but when I stopped it, it screwed everything up. I couldn't believe i did that but, sometimes we make mistakes.
    Oh well...................lesson learned!

That is the hand made blade hammered out & those are hammer marks!

I've really wanted one of these for awhile. Just stumbled across it in the wild. $25 was a great price I think. The corrosion is insignificant and the scales are perfect. I need to find the 7/8 shuredge someday.

Yea, Robeson’s are junk and the heavy pitting on the tang is a factory defect, stay away from them…

Robeson’s are great shavers, the blued hammered tangs are prized, your’s is a super find, especially at the price.

It should clean up easily with just a bit of polish.

Must be an aesthetic thing then, it's in the wrong spot to be grip.

The Robeson has jumps on the bottom. The hammered pattern feels great in the stropping grips, though.

I think the hammered tang is a signature look of hand forged blades. It's a popular thing.

Nice razor by the way :<0)

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
