Thanked: 12My IXL, the emporers new clothes
First, a Thanks to gssixguns for the fine job he did. I bought my Wostie IXL with the intention of having it restored, and Glen really came through. The blade had engraved letters with background etching, but was afraid that would be lost when the blade was polished. A light polish left both intact, while leaving enough patina to tell the tale of age. We decided on Blonde Buffalo horn, but the wedge I left up to his discretion. Absolutely the best decision I've ever made, as the buffalo horn was complimented beautifully with a wedge made of turquoise. I love old stuff, especially when you can make them useful again. Thanks again, Glen, good job!
