Brimfield Mass. Antique Show Haul
A little background: The Brimfield MA Antique Show is a 6 day event with over 5000 vendors. I went today which was the last day. I think the really good stuff was already bought. But the other side of the coin is that the sellers want to get rid of their stuff cheap.
The straights are nothing to salivate over, but the Wade & Butcher has possibilities. I couldn't find any "sweet spot" straights. They were either real cheap $10-15 and in need of work or $50+ for straights that can be bought on Ebay for $20-$25 every day.
A couple weird razors I hadn't seen before the Vibro Shave Electric Razor. It's a DE razor that is electric. Appears unused.
The other weird one is what appears to be an unused Shake Sharp razor, " the razor that sharpens itself".
The Gillette Techs and Flare Tip appear to be unused. And a brand new "ball end"??? still with the cardboard installed between the base and cover.
I paid $2-$12/each.

Nice haul. That electric razor looks interesting. If you test it out let us know how it works.

I live near that but always seem to miss it. I find out after its done. I have heaRd it's not what it use to be. Both selling and buying. An antique dealer I talk with said a lot of the shoppers are looking for cheap stuff and quality furniture which use to sell doesn't any more. I think your W&B will clean up. Nice day of shopping though. Better than a day home of cleaning, which is what I did. Lol

There were a lot of empty booths. I heard however a lot of vendors don't stay for Sunday.
I was concentrating on shaving items and didn't take much notice of the other items. I have heard quite frankly that a lot of antique dealers are having a tough time. I think it's a sign of the economy. While the economy has come back, I think folks are not throwing money around as they used to.
There was a beautiful, seemingly unused, 7 day set. It was tagged at $895, the seller told me she would take $650. Sadly, or perhaps happily, I didn't have the $650. If it had been in my pocket, I just might have come home with a 7 day set.

Yeah it has been tough. They are also very expensive to rent a space there. Shockingly expensive. Damn 7 day set huh. I don't have the money for that either but wish I did

You did great! The shake sharp is the earliest model I have seen.
Enjoy the cleanup and shaves!
