    My brother salvaged this from somewhere years ago that he isn't sure of, possibly my late great uncle, and then he promptly put it in storage. He recalled having it several months ago when I started with straights, and yesterday he finally gave it to me:

    Most I see don't have such a wide blade as that one! That's definitely a great find & one to hand down when ya get old & crusty...................

    its a 10/8, so it has a big presence. Shaves incredibly well - I just needed to put it to the strop for a few minutes and it was ready to go.

    My descent into old crustiness is, according to some of those around me, already beginning....
