Yep & if you just want to replace one pin, I'd be glad to send you some washers & pinning material. I have plenty of washers & 1/16 brass rod but i'm waiting on some nickel rod right now. You need a little tapping hammer which you can get at Harbor Freight for I think for $5 & a small anvil which I have a piece of 1' square keyway stock or if you have a vise, you can use the anvil part on it or like I also have is a short piece of RR track for an anvil. The hammer at Harbor Freight is a watchmakers hammer i think. Here's the hammer at Harbor Freight ☛

Thanks Steve, but I allready have the materials and tools to re-pin. I made the scales for this inexspensive razor and I think it turned out quite nice. I'm not sure if I want to try that on the Duck though. I hear the scales are very easy to crack or break....
Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.

Wow that's good Dave!!! That's great you already have the tools! You wanna be very careful on those duck scales. They can break easy!
I have some flush cutters for removing pins but you still have to be very careful with those. I usually grind the head down on a pin if I'm not trying to save it, then I use the flush cutters & it will pop the washer off easily & then you can cut the remainder of the pin off & easily tap it out. If they won't tap out easily, I will cut the other side with the flush cutters. I have different techniques I use. I sometimes will drill the pin out. When using the flush cutters, I also use some masking tape on the scales so I don't scratch them up or put marks on them.Last edited by engine46; 05-22-2015 at 11:17 AM.

I really like my WB Bow. A sweet blade.
IIRC, they made them from 1830 to 1919. Most went to Africa and SE Asia.
Mine had broken vulcanite scales so I got to put some wood on it.Last edited by rolodave; 05-23-2015 at 12:36 AM.
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.
