The barbers blade
Here's the finished razor that a friend of mine asked me to replace the scales on. Its a CF WOLFERTZ & CO. ALLENTOWN PA. he said dont worry about cleaning up the blade, but i had to remove the rust around the pivot hole and the spine and a few places on the blade, no sanding, just clean and polish. But i couldnt give him his razor back with micro chips in the edge. So to the hones, CR/OX, fabric, leather, and test shave this morning. SWEET SHAVE he's gonna enjoy that.

Nice job. The scales look great. Counter sunk hardware is a cool touch too.
Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.

PA razors rule! Look up info on Wolfertz and his dog powered machinery. Good stuff!

Yeah Mike, you will find there are many helpful & knowledgable people here & it's always good to know that there are other's with the same interests as you! So glad to have you here. I just missed one on the bay I got outbid on. It was a Solingen made Mulcato Diamond. I just hope someone else here got it. I'm disappointed I got outbid but that's life & i won't let it eat me up. I'll be looking for it to show up in Show & Tell in the next few days. I knew I should have put a few more bucks on it!
