    Default Finally scored a tailless razor

    Just arrived in the mail the other day, just needs a little TLC and a trip across the hones!

    I love it!!!! I had one once but after looking at it closely, it had been broken off. It didn't look like it until I looked at it under magnification plus when I turned it sideways, you could see the force that bent it until the tail was broken off, as if it were done intentionally to be made to look like a tail less razor!!! It was a sad thing because the scales were beautiful but I couldn't see paying the money I did for it & keeping it, knowing the til had ben broken off! If it was done s=accidentally, I don't see how?
    Nice score....................it's a beautiful example of an old tail less straight!

    I believe it does have a small tail to it but I wasn't going to say anything....................

    'Taint much of a tail, is it Jeff? Somewhere between a tailless and a stub. A transitional thing? Perhaps a stub which got damaged? The sharp bevel at the tip of the scales is not right. I think.
