    Default Alfred Williams EBRO

Here's one I picked up off the bay bout a year ago or so. It's an Alfred Williams & it is very similar to the Wade & Butcher that has a similar saying but this one says "Lather Well, You'll Save Better". I don't know if I ever showed this one but if not here it is. The pics do it no justice, it looks really good in person! It appears to be post 1891.

    thats cool!

i have the wade and butcher with the "lather well shave well" etching on it ( well missing a bit of it) and i also have a big EBRO wedge,

interesting combination of the two... was the "lather well shave well" etching common for different brands of razors?

Very cool. I've never seen the EBRO mark on anything but Joseph Wostenholm blades. Looks like Alfred Williams got the trade mark when Joseph and sons were done with it.
