    Default Vintage Boker King Cutter

Here is a Vintage oker King Cutter I picked up about a year ago or more. It was made for The Herold Bros., Cleveland, Ohio
I cleaned it up & honed it, tightened the pins. It seems to be a fine razor. I'll find out later when I try it out. It should shave like a dream! When I saw it, it only said Herold Bros. Then it had a small pic of the tree & I knew what it was.

    Hey Steve, nice steel.
I have a KC I was given by trillium and it's a beautiful shaver. Big fan of the vintage Boker blades up here. My Cutter is an Irish point, aside from that, very similar to yours. Great sound during the shave as well.
    Nice clean up bro!
    Cheers.

    Thanks Mike
I've been outside getting rid of a spare motorcycle lift I had but I don't need two anymore plus it put a few hundred in my pocket & I have more space in the garage. Here's another Boker which is in the Boker Brotherhood:

I think I have some more around here that need some love & attention which will be getting it soon!

    Nice Imperial as well.
    Love me my old Bokers..
My very first straight is a Boker Adonis, I have three in total now and get great shaves from them every time. The new ones, like everything else, seem to have become less awesome than the vintage ones, but the older ones are keepers IMO.
Cheers mate, Wish I had a lift in my garage,,,,

Great blade you've got there. I'm a big fan of the old Bokers myself. You just can't compare it to the new ones.
    Tell us how she shaves

Very nice! Do you have any idea what the scales are made from?

Not off hand. I was going to sand them down with some very fine sandpaper & polish them again which would make them look really good. I have sandpaper in progressions from 220 to 3000 grit but once I sand on them I could tell if they are celluloid or bakelite. You can usually smell the celluloid by the camphor smell they put off.
