Default Geo Savage & Sons XX

I acquired this Geo Savage & Sons XX & this thing is a meat chopper! The blade is at least 1/4" thick & 15/16" at the widest point but has a little more hone wear to the toe of the blade. It's a lot larger blade than I expected. The scales are huge like the W&B FBU. It almost reminds me of my Birke which is 1" at the widest point but is also a huge meat chopper.

Thanks guys, I got lucky on that one & was the only bidder.
Here's my Birke I was referring to. Rather than start a new thread & take up space, I went & found it:

Thanks Mike. I'm glad you like 'em! Too bad you don't live nearby. We could sit & talk razor's all day long & then some. A couple of fine females that like straights as well would top it off! You know................the ones who like to shave their legs & among other things with a nice straight razor. Would make a day very interesting! I know a lot of great guys on here that would love the same I'm sure.

You bet! Nothing better than sharp girls and high carbon.
Except the three for $10 today at a flea market.
Ive already cleaned up two. Just some polish. One has no markings at all. One is a Thomas Mfg. Co. 6/8. And last is a schmidt&krig razor works Geneva NY 5/8
