Just another one.
I saw this one had been on for a while. looked at it fairly close and thought I would try to take the chip out without loosing too much blade. Looks like i'm waiting again. I've go a Henckel 50 and I like pretty well I hope the only difference is this one is a round point and the 50 is a square point. anyway it's something to play with .

Thanked: 4828It does not seem to be 100% true, but most times 1/2 is a round point and no fraction is a square. I have no idea what an Irish point would be like for fractions.

My friend, I know I have it but you have RAD! I don't mean anything bad about that either.
That one will require some work to get that chip out. Have fun!
I have a really nice Joseph Elliot that has a chip in it & I keep putting it off!Last edited by engine46; 06-03-2015 at 03:45 AM.

Thanked: 4828Hone with an elevated spine to the get the chip out, perhaps on a DMY 325 for most of it and then drop to 3 layers of tape on a 1K to get the last of it out and then set the bevel with one layer of tape. And Robert is your mothers brother.
