Default Cattaraugus Green Lizard Seven Day Set

Here is my Cattaraugus Green Lizard Seven Day Set I've slowly been acquiring & I didn't spend $1599 or best offer like the cheesy one that was on eBay awhile back. You will see a total of eight in the pic but I actually have one more which is different because it has the lizard on the blade rather than the scales. If you notice the top two are a much darker green & I think that is the difference in blade width because the lighter green ones have 5/8" wide blades while the darker green scaled ones have 6/8" blades. Now I will need to start cleaning these up & honing them. I may also have to look out for darker green ones since I think i have almost all light green ones. I have one that isn't shown because some moron decided to carve his/her initials on it which I think I can get out but it will take some work since they are a little deeper than usual.
I have to thank Jonathan aka ultrasoundguy2003 for sending me the link to the seven day box. This forum is all about helping out one another & w/o people like Jonathan & many more, this forum wouldn't be what it is today!
Thank you very much Jonathan. Yes, you actually see eight!

Thanks. When I got the darker green one I thought they made the coloring too strong but I got another dark green one & they're both 6/8" rather than the light green 5/8" ones.

This is the difference in the dark green scales & the light green, dark green being 6/8" light green being 5/8"

Nice work, Steve. I have a nice 5/8, lighter green one with the little green felt slip, which has Cattaraugus on the button snap.
I also have a pristine Green Lizard hone in the box with the stick 'injuns' dancing around with tomahawks. My 6/8+, is also dark green with the lizard on the blade. The tang is also very heavy and the grind, as well! I have another heavy blade, looking for some dark scales.
That box is spot-on for a Catt set!
Love them Lizards. You have a nice set!

    Thanks Tom
If I ever come across a dark set, I'll hook ya up. The than that, I'll be trying to get more dark ones if I can afford it. I'd love to get one of the hones for a decent price! There is a seven dat Cattaraugus set on the bay right now but they aren't Green Lizards & the box is the same!
