Thread: A little seen American maker

A beauty for sure, a few small pits etc. don't detract from it's great looks. It's a Rattler grind and not a faux frameback as the faux has a solid and flat piece of metal from tang to blade with a small bar of metal attached at the spine to provide the honing angle. The true frameback is something of the opposite with the spine and tang one piece and the blade attached to them. Both of them are two pieces of metal one has a separate blade and the other a separate spine. At least as far as I know..
