    Default Wade & Butcher FBU

Saw this as a BIN. It almost felt like stealing, poor guy didn't know what it was.

The washers are a little beat up, but the scales are perfect. The back of the blade has some deep scratches, something akin to 120 grit size. It looks like its been used very little and should be quite a shaver once I clean it a little. My first inclination was to do a full restore but I think it may be a disservice to its history. I think just a full disassembly and cleaning and some 600 wet/dry to lessen the staining and get rid of the active rust.

The blade measures .990", so close..... The box is incredibly well preserved considering its age, and equally massive.

    ^^^ Right?!
I was shocked when I saw it, after quickly glancing at the 2 pics and not seeing anything too wrong with it I hit the buy it now button. After looking over the sales pics I wanted to post something here but didn't want to jinx it. Decided to wait, must be from growing up playing ball.....

Take real good care of that one. I was sent a pm by Trevor aka whoever, when he saw a straight identical to that one but slightly wider sold for $516.66! The seller said that Glen honed it in his listing. You can see it here:

Wow I didn't realize it was a BIN? $48 +$6 sh...............did you look to see what else the seller had for sale?
    Congrats!

That was mine that sold for $516. I was quite shocked, but now my custom blade made by Bruno is more than paid for

I'll be posting lots of pics of me new custom when it arrives. To save money I ordered it without scales and not 100 % finished as far as polishing and honing go. Good score sir!

    What was the BIN????
