Default Scored a Vintage Le Grelot

I bought this beauty recently and it has arrived 10 minutes ago. Very clean and in excellent condition. 6/8 hollow ground and very heavy. I look forward to hone it and shave.

When will it be in SOTD?

    Great score!

I am planing to soak it in Barbicide for 10 min(blade only) but I am wondering if blade etching will be gone after barbicide? I have never used barbicide or any sort, sorry if it is an stupid question.

I'm happy for you my good friend. You will love the shave you get from that. You are starting to get some nice razors. I noticed the one you had in the SOTD & it is a very nice straight razor.

Congratulations; it looks fantastic.. You usually don't see the Le Grelots coming off the Bay in such pristine condition.

Thank you guys, I was really surprised when I saw a Le Grelot in that clean and mint condition. Le Grelot and TI razors are my weak spot, I always admire those razors. I cleaned the razor yesterday and tonight I will hone it and tomorrow it will be in SOTD I hope.

Beautiful razor. Scales are in great condition also. Etching really adds to the eye appeal.
