Scored a Vintage Le Grelot
I bought this beauty recently and it has arrived 10 minutes ago. Very clean and in excellent condition. 6/8 hollow ground and very heavy. I look forward to hone it and shave.

I am planing to soak it in Barbicide for 10 min(blade only) but I am wondering if blade etching will be gone after barbicide? I have never used barbicide or any sort, sorry if it is an stupid question.

I haven't had barbicide effect the etchings on any of mine so far
but most polishes wil straight up eat etching coatings
Those scales will dye blue possibly if you spill it on them alsoSaved,
to shave another day.

I'm happy for you my good friend. You will love the shave you get from that. You are starting to get some nice razors. I noticed the one you had in the SOTD & it is a very nice straight razor.
