Forgot to post this- Descriptions of the razors:
- WM Elliot & Co 224, horn scales with calf roper inlay- Loose pivot pin, but usable once cleaned up, pin tightened, and honed.
- The Sensation- Ross W. Black Pittsburg. Faux Ivory scales with bolsters. Pin is good, scales are a little warped. Needs clean up and hone.
- Spike- Union Cutlery Co. Olean, N.Y.- Green Plastic Scales. This one has pretty heavy hone wear, but it should still be good to clean and hone.
- Ontario Cutlery Co, Geneva, NY U.S.A- Loose pivot pin, has more rust on blade than the others, and some corrosion on the pin heads. White plastic scales, that are absolutely filthy inside. Clean up, tighten the pin and hone.

Thanked: 4830The Spike has more hone wear that would be ideal, the good news is it looks pretty even. They look like great candidates for your purposes and should work out well as prime shavers in the end. Nice planning.
