Thanked: 2284Out cruisin, and found these.
My wife and I had a great day in London Ontario, at the Craft beer and BBQ show. Food trucks galore and many of my favorite local craft breweries with their seasonals I can't get at the store. Stopped at an antique store that I have scored other great shaving items at, and today it didn't disappoint. Got both these for $20. Very happy because I've been wanting a Superspeed and this Fatboy is in better condition than the one I already have.
Both are made in the US, Super speed date code is E3 and the Fat boy is F4. I'll have to look up those numbers and also do some reading on how to clean these up. It's been a while since I've had to tackle one of these.
Thanks for looking Gentlemen!

I've seen a lot worse! It doesn't look that bad. Replacing would make it beautiful though!

That must be something you found on the net or you might have done it but nevertheless, it is very important & thank you very much jfk742. The fatboy he describes in the photo, date code E1 is exactly like mine which is an E1 but it is in pretty good condition on the outside. Who knows what it looks like inside.
I feel fortunate to have one of the better ones that has the screw in disc as opposed to the pressed in one.
BTW, I have found that Feather blades are probably the best ones a person can buy.Last edited by engine46; 06-22-2015 at 05:54 PM.

I ended up donating mine (E1 date code). The plating was completely intact, actually a really nice razor except it was missing one of the end caps that holds the silo doors. Anyways the thing looked almost new otherwise, inside was a different story, lets just say I'm glad I cleaned it out first before using it. On another note when you have it in pieces send it through a vibratory tumbler if you have one, sure put a nice shine on mine and further cleaned anything I left behind from the initial scrub.
