Default New shineys for my den

I am quickly finding my straight razor collecting is as addictive as DE collecting. I just landed these two beauties on the Bay. I don't know much info on them but they cleaned up nice and feel solid. They'll be off to Glen or SRD for honing before to long and then into action. Looking forward to seeing how they perform!

One is a DH Lory German made and the others a Costa & Sons that I think is American made "back in the day".

Nice, clean ones! The top one is typical of hardware variety razors. You may never find out who the actual maker was.
However, being in good shape and German-made, it should prove to be a great shaver.

The bottom one ,while showing some wear, is interesting in that it is stamped on the front side for a Mass retailer, yet we see on the back side it was made by H.M. Christiansen of Brockton before he sold out and the company/name was moved to New Bedford.

    Hone them up!

    I rest my case.
