#50 Hayashi Diamond - Real Japanese Hollow Ground
This was an auction I won on eBay about a month ago from a known Japanese vendor, knew it was a crap shoot, it was in terrible shape, but I ended up winning the auction for $35.00 to my surprise.
Valery finished it a couple of hours ago, so thought I'd share the results - I think it turned out pretty nice!

Nice!
The spine looks really beefy in one of the photos (I like the grind a lot). But geometry says it can't be I guess, or does it? Good score. Oh yeah, I like the way the Japanese razors have a symmetrical end on the spine, not that other razors don't have this..."Call me Ishmael"

The entire Diamond series are very well made and are superior shavers. Enjoy.

HAR! Who can keep up with Jamie! BTW, Steve. I just decided you look like Ted Nugent in your avatar!
And what is up with the logo on this H-Diamond? I have one as well, buuuut it looks like some familiar twins, yet conjoined? Seems they share a pair? I suppose I am just looking at it wrong?
They are some great shavers, for certain. I have gotten a few lately. Just have refrained from stealing Jamie's thunder!Last edited by sharptonn; 07-28-2015 at 01:20 AM.

LOL - this one was a lucky accident, our infamous or famous Japanese seller had this as an auction as opposed to a BIN, and I won - turned out very nice - it's beat up, but the price was right!
Engine - guess we'll all be referring to you as The Nuge now, the Motor City Madman?Last edited by Phrank; 07-28-2015 at 01:37 AM.
