Size: 52.6 KB this one finally got here and I sat down today to hone. It cleaned up fairly nice and I honed with the 1-3-5-8-12K naniwa and finished on the 20K Suehiro using 1 layer of .0085 vinyl electric tape. it honed up rather quickly and can't wait to try. it did turn out to be 6/8 and I didn't notice when I bid but the point was muted just a little. almost unnoticeable. that's ok with me the points have a nasty little way of showing your true colors.

Very good looking razor, congrats. I have seen a few blades with the tip cut back like that and wonder if it was not done at the factory.

I don't know about the tip but this makes the 11 Henckel I've had and there was only one I couldn't shave with. not because it wasn't a good razor but because of the shape of the scales and my hands. there are some razors that my hands just want work with. Author. Some are hard to get the right angle to shave for me. but I think this one will do fine. I have others with these type scales and they do good.

I have a Henckels 166 and it is by far and away the most comfortable for me. Stropping with it is the best, just seems to be perfect balance and fit for my hand.

That is a nice looking 72, I bet its a helluva shave.

That box of Henckels is going to be as big as Sharptonns soon.

HEY! I broke down and bought a razor from that seller yesterday! Most of his razors are used to some degree, including rounded tips.
Still, good users. Better be good!

Well the rotation got around to this one today. It gave a smooth comfortable shave. I do believe it's a keeper.
