Thanked: 3228Gift from Nephew
My nephew gave me this brush and Boker the other day. I was more than happy to have my wife's father's other razor to add to my collection. Took a long time on the hones to get past the rust on the bevel and into fresh steel but I think it is there after a test shave. The razor is only stamped Solingen without Germany anywhere on it. The only markings on the brush is Made in West Germany on the base. I believe the small not too dense knot is a lower grade of badger. Used it for the test shave and can only say it is the most floppy knot I have ever used. It does the job but really not to pleasant to use.

Most of the older brushes, I have found, were quite floppy and yes that is a badger brush.
Gift razors are a joy!
