    Default Ontario Cutlery Refresh

I picked this up a few months ago, as part of a lot. I have never done a refresh, or honed an eBay find from bevel to shave. I did a couple rounds of sanding with wet dry, up to 1500 grit. Then I used a buffing wheel. I still need to do some more. Also tightened the pins, and sanded and polished the scales. Suggestions on how to get it better next time?

Looks good. What kind of compounds did you use after sanding?

I used a red polishing compound on a cloth wheel.

Got a better picture of it today as part of my SOTD. Big improvment from what I started with.

Like most blades from that area, I found Ontarios to be wonderful shavers. 'Ride the stones well & deliver the goods reliably. 'Nice job on the resto.
