Six EP bottles
I couldn't resist
....These were found in a barn and will clean up just fine.
None of the tops have screw caps but that's not a problem.
I think I need help with my BAD !!

Depending how stained/dirty they are:
50/50 CLR and warm water.
Paint stripper (gel) !!
Mineral Turpentine.
WD-40
Bleach-diluted with hot water.
Initially soak overnight in warm water and detergent to see how much you can remove gently.
There are antique bottle forums you can google for cleaning info.
The inside is usually dirtier than the outside, hence some of the heavy duty solutions I've used.Last edited by bongo; 09-22-2015 at 02:22 PM.

I hunt my tail off in South Florida for Pinaud bottles & never found one,,,,,
I do have a vintage one that was a gift,,,,,,,,,,,I put modern Pinaud in it & use it weekly.
I would rather hunt in the old stores & estates sales than Ebay them,,, I like the surprise when I find something that way.
