Thanked: 3225George Dealtry & Sons
Found this razor locally today. It is stamped George Dealtry & Sons 24.11.36 Manufacturers. It is 6/8 at the heel and about 7/8 at the toe. It is a heavy grind but not near wedge. No Sheffield or England stamps but looks very British from the blonde horn scales with lead wedge to the blade design. A quick search turns up nothing on the maker so if anyone has any info please post it. I think it will clean up nicely.

Thanked: 4827I looks like bit of sanding to get the bulk of the nasty stuff off but should be not too difficult to be made quite presentable, and the original scales and collars look like they will be just fine too. Always nice of find them in the wild.

Thanked: 3225My thoughts too on the sanding. I have no qualms with still having some light pitting let either, doesn't effect the shave. It is all soaking in pure Neats Foot Oil now and will be for a few days. The scales have a slight warp at the toe end which will be taken care of too. Won't be a show piece but a good workhorse.
Just hope I can fond out who Dealtry was.
