7 8 Wade and Butcher Vintage Straight Razor | eBay
Just won this one on the bay. I think my spending is out of control. I'll post some pics once it comes in. I'd like to see how the blade polishes up. I'm also curious if I can get the writing off the scales.

What does the writing say? It may very well be a part of the razor's past history. Whether you keep the writing or replace the scales is up to you, but if it were mine, I would try to determine the meaning of the writing first.
