First one in this shape
Saw this one and was interested in then shape and wondered how it would handle not only when shaving but when honing and stroping. it has a few dark spots that i believe will clean up so i bid and won. The thumb notch under it is interesting. I've seen them on bay before so i'll give it try. It did seem odd that they discribed it as plastic handles when there is a bug bit. anyway can't wait till it gets here.

I believe that it will be a nice handling razor! I like that grind and it shaves like a more easily positioned round toe.

I saw that and for the price I reckon you got a bargain
It is very aesthetically pleasing and I believe it will shave like a champion !!http://straightrazorplace.com/workshop/18504-welcome-workshop-how-do-i-where-do-i-what-do-i-answers-here.html

This one came today and I can't see where it's been honed before. it has 2 little spots close to the spine and a couple of very small bug bits on the horn other than those small things it's great. I will wait until the other one arrives then hone them both and try. I haven't shaved with it yet but it does feel good in the hand.

We all like to ooh and aah over the nos W&B FBU's and the like on the auction site , but in all reality it is the occasional great find like this blade that keeps me going back to the listings. Sweet razor and a great score rhensley !

Not really. compared to a lot of you on the Place my collection is quite small. I am getting several of different shapes and sizes which lets me compare them to see which I like the best. before long I will reduce the collection and then look for the ones I haven't tried. I do know I like the bone and ivory scales. not only for what they are but how they fell in the hand.

This one honed up really quick and rather easy. I did shave with it and it really does a great job. I do imagine it's a keeper.

I actually acquired most of mine quite awhile back. I have some I picked up cheap, that I haven't even done anything with yet with the exception of a couple. I have been keeping my favorites & thinning it down some. I also have some blades that need scales so I will be scaling some of those soon. I've given a few away & sold a few.
I like the bone & Ivory also, especially the Ivory. You usually show some nice ones, some unique!
